Perfect Pie
Artistic Director Karen Towsley presents Perfect Pie, by Canadian playwright Judith Thomson.
It is a potent drama, where, in the course of an afternoon's reunion between two long-estranged women, a buried memory and two teenaged girls wild secret slam into the present.*
"Few other writers could blend a simple pie-baking experience with the horror of a train accident and, in the process, concoct a powerful catharsis." - Jon Kaplan, NOW, Toronto
"Playwright Judith Thompson has taken the achetypal Canadian homecoming narrative and reinvented it afresh in her remarkable and richly rewarding new masterpiece, Perfect Pie. ...It's still true that you can't go home again. But Thompson poignantly illustrated that where you come from is always a part of us." - Vit Wagner, The Toronto Star.
