The Wayawitmayihk Theatre Company would like to take this opportunity to remind all patrons of live theatre in Fort McMurray to eliminate the possibility of disrupting the flow of the performance by silencing all cell phones, pagers, PDA's, chiming watches, etc.
Not only are the noises these devices make disruptive to other patrons, they can also be very distracting for the actors.

Vagina Monologues Opens to Packed House
On Friday January 23, the Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler opened to a full house
200 Fort McMurray theatregoers were treated to the first of five splendid performances of Eve Ensler's Vagina Monologues on Friday January 23, 2004. The first ever showing in Fort McMurray was met with obvious approval, as illustrated by the fact that most of the patrons stayed behind after the show to engage in a talk back with the cast.
The cast of Ruth Francoeur, Georg Gerow, Terri Mort, Lisa Ruelling and Lori Ryan delivered stellar performances as they explored the myriad of themes contained in the monologues.
